The INSIGHT Inventory is an easy-to-use self-scoring personal style inventory designed to help people understand themselves and others. It measures behaviour on a double scale of Work and Home acknowledging that our behaviour often changes between these very different environments.

It is based on the idea that behaviour is determined by the interaction between personality and environmental (field) pressures. To complete the Inventory respondents check the degree to which 32 descriptive terms describe their behaviour both at Work and at Home in their personal world.

Results provide score intensity on scales determining four key factors:
� Getting your way (direct and indirect)
� Responding to people (reserved and outgoing)
� Pacing activity (urgent and steady)
� Dealing with details (unstructured or structured)

Interpretation of the results focuses on identifying strengths and learning to flex one's style as you move from one environment to another and/or as the communication dynamics change in a particular setting.

The INSIGHT Inventory is different from other personality and style assessments in that it takes into consideration how you may change your behaviour from one setting to another where most instruments give people reports attempting to describe them in general or classify them into a particular type or category.

The five parts of this report direct the individual to specific information about their personality traits and builds these into:
� Work style profile
� how the individual tends to behave at work using the four factors
� Personal style profile
� how the individual tends to behave away from work in their personal world using the four factors
� Understanding responses to stress
� describes what might be a stressful situation for the individual given their tendencies and predictable reactions
� Guidelines for flexing style
� in order to communicate more effectively with others whether they have opposing or similar styles
� Summary
� highlighting key points

INSIGHT takes a mere 15 minutes to complete yet provides a rich understanding of each person's behavioural traits. It is not only effective as a personal development/awareness tool it also assists individuals in appreciating and relating to those around them (in both the Work and Personal environments).
